Fey FK7 rings are steel retainer rings/locking rings. They are available both as single-wound and double-wound versions. The rings are used for securing components axially for transmission systems, agricultural implements and for securing parts in the automotive industry. They are also used in roller bearings for the shipping and aviation industry, and for winches.
For installation purposes, different versions are available with straight butt, oblique butt or recess.
Advantages of the double-wound types include:
|FK7 ESB||Single-wound retainer ring for bores (externally tensioned)|
|FK7 ESW||Single-wound retainer ring for shafts (internally tensioned)|
|FK7 DSB||Double-wound retainer ring for bores (externally tensioned)|
|FK7 DSW||Double-wound retainer ring for shafts (internally tensioned)|
|FK7 DMS||Double-wound retainer ring for shafts with centrifugal force protection (internally tensioned)|
